Cassini Spacecraft found ice volcano in space

The researchers found evidence of an ice volcano or also called cryovolcano, on Titan, largest moon owned by the Planet Saturn.

Cassini spacecraft sent to Saturn since 1997, managed to find three pieces of ice volcano with a peak as high as 1000-1500 meters of material issued to the entire surface in the vicinity.

The peak of cryovolcano, there is in the area of Titan called Sotra Facula located in the southern part of Titan. The volcano is called also as 'The Rose', because of the images captured by radar and infrared instruments Cassini, the volcano is like a rose.

Titan is already long been thought to have cryovolcano. However, because of Titan's atmosphere is so foggy, observations on suspicion it was very difficult to prove.
