Batlle LA

Description

For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world - Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings becomes a terrifying reality when earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world's great cities fall, there remains one place that becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. It?s up to your team to draw a line in the sand and take on an enemy unlike any we've ever encountered before.

Features

  • Immersive first person shooter experience. AAA boxed product visuals and heart-thumping 5.1 surround sound pull you into devastatingly deep into the heart of the battle.
  • Defend Los Angeles. Face off against the enemy in familiar locations from a besieged City of Angels.
  • Relive the thrill of the movie. As Corporal Lee Imlay, you will fight alongside characters from the film, including Staff Sergeant Michael Nantz, Tech Sergeant Elena Santos, Corporal Kevin Harris and others on your mission to save humanity.
  • Stereo 3D (Xbox 360 only). Get deeper into the action with the option to play the game in stereo 3D on select 3D TVs.

Technical Note

Battle: Los Angeles for XBLA outputs 3D signals for televisions that work with active shutter stereoscopic glasses and 3D technology. In order to see the 3D, Xbox 360 users need a television that supports a "horizontal split" 3D mode, an HDMI connection between their Xbox 360 to the 3D TV and be wearing active shutter 3D glasses compatible with their 3D TV model that are charged or have fresh batteries.

The majority of newer (since 2009) 3D TV's do support this and have been tweaked and tested by Saber Interactive to be an outstanding experience with Battle: Los Angeles from XBLA, including almost all 3D enabled sets from Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, Vizio, and LG.
