Sony Camcorder PMW-100



Sony unveiled the latest camera, the PMW-100. video was claimed to be the smallest and most lightweight cameras in the XDCAM family. PMW-100 camera is intended for professionals such as journalists and videographers. The design is small and lightweight in its class makes this camera can easily take it traveling.

PMW-100 cameras adopted 1/2.9-inch Exmor CMOS sensor. This camera can record video with 1080p resolution. The resulting video format is MPEG HD422 codec. In addition, this camera is also capable of capturing audio 24-bit four-channel (uncompressed 48Khz). PMW-100 also supports memory cards as storage media like memory stick, SD card and XQD. PMW-100 camera has a 3.5 inch WVGA screen with 852 x 480 resolution. Slow & Quick Motion function helps the user to be able to create fast and slow motion footage from an artistic ranging from 1fps to 60fps mode (frame per second) as well as from 1fps to 30fps in 1080p mode.

Not only that, the PMW-100 camera also supports the port HD / SD-SDI output, Composite output, Genlock input, time code input / output, i.LINK (HDV / DV) and A / V output.
