1. Lake Malawi, Malawi


Lake Malawi is home to 1,000 species of fish, most of the other lakes. Lake Malawi is also called Lake Nyasa is the third largest lake in Africa with a length of 363 miles and a depth of 50 miles. The lake is situated at 2300 feet below sea level, between the border of Malawi, Mozambique, and Tanzania, which support hundreds of local residents with a wealth of spring water, which unfortunately dwindling due to excessive fishing. 2. Peyto Lake, Alberta, Canada


Peyto Lake is located in the province of Alberta, in the mountains of the Canadian Rockies. 4. Lake Taal, Philippines



The location of this lake is 37.38 miles south of Manila. Being known for two things, namely having a depth that reaches 564 feet and home to the smallest volcano in the world's most active, Mount Taal. Mount Taal is located in the waters near the island of Luzon. This lake formed by volcanic explosion that left a big hole. 5. Lake Atitlan, Guatemala
