South Africa to host the African Nations Cup 2013

Protracted internal conflict in Libya to make the country lose its right to hold Africa Cup of Nations 2013. Instead, the Federation of African Football (CAF) South Africa appoint as his successor.

Countries that will host in 2015 has been set is Morocco. And in 2012, the tournament will be held in Guinea and Gabon with Egypt as defending champions.

Decision CAF Africa Cup of Nations held in 2013 due to start that year the championship will be held in odd years, in order to avoid clashing with the World Cup event, as happened last year. Earlier African Cup is always held in even-numbered year.
