Pinterest, The Third Social Networking Most Visited in the United States

Pinterest, social network that carries the concept of sharing a virtual pin board experienced significant growth both in terms of number of users and frequency of visits.


Pinterest social networking has become the third most visited in the United States, still under Facebook and Twitter but was able to overtake Google's social networking +.

Data was released by Experian, in a report entitled "2012 Digital Marketer: Benchmark and Trend Report". According to data from Experian, 91 percent of adults use the Internet and more than 15 percent of U.S. Internet users visit social media on a regular basis each month. One of the most visited is Pinterest.

According to Experian, in December 2011, Pinterest entry list of the ten largest social networking. In January and February 2012, Pinterest traffic jumped 50 percent. This surge makes Pinterest able to overtake other social networks like Tumblr, LinkedIn, and Google +.

On March 2012, Pinterest become the third, the social networking the most visited in the U.S..

Pinterest a digital start-up company that gets the title of "Best New Startup TechCrunch" in 2011 then. On December 2011, already noted Pinterest 7 million unique visitors a month.
