QPR sign Marseille striker Remy. Queens Park Rangers have signed
striker Loic Remy for a club record fee from Marseille. Remy, 26, has
agreed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Premier League's bottom
club. QPR did not disclose the fee, but stated it was a club record
with the figure believed to be in the region of £8m. Harry Redknapp
told the club website "I'm delighted to bring him in - he's a great
buy for us. "Remy has won 17 caps for France and scored four goals for
his country. He was also a target for Newcastle, who had expected him
for talks on Sunday only to discover he had travelled to Loft us Road
instead.
