History of Photography

photography comes from the Greek words phos and graphein, the word was coined in 1839 by Sir John Herschel. in the 5th century BC and the 4th Chinese philosopher Mo Ti, Aristotle and Euclid described the pinhole camera.
photography is the process of making pictures by the action of recording light patterns reflected or emitted from objects, on the photosensitive medium through a timed or sensor exposur. This process is done through mechanical, chemical or electronic device known as a camera.

The first permanent photograph produced in 1826 by French inventor of the yusuf Nicéphore Niépce, the pictures produced with polish tin plate covered with oil, called bitumen of Judea.

Niepce then began experimenting with iron compounds on the basis of Johann Heinrich Schultz who found that iron and chalk mixture darkens when exposed to light.

in 1832 French painter and inventor hercules-brasil florence has created a very similar process and called Photographie.

photography can not find one person, but developed by many people, ranging from Chinese philosopher Mo Ti, Aristotle, eucild, yusuf Nicéphore Niépce, Johann Heinrich schuultz, hercules florence, and others.
